FORM OF PAYMENT :
10% at the time of booking
90% 14 days before arrival
To CONFIRM a booking, the 1st payment must be made.
For all payments, in the case of credit card, and with the entry of the new PSD2, you will receive the secure payment platform, through COMERCIA GLOBAL PAYMENTS, and there, you will be able to pay your booking.
In the case of web payment, the secure payment platform is already included. If you prefer, you can also select another payment method, such as bank transfer.
We do not accept reservations for groups of clients under 24 years of age.
FREE cancellation up to 14 nights prior to arrival.
From 0 to 14 nights prior to arrival, 100% cancellation penalty.
WE ADVISE YOU TO ASK US FOR TRAVEL INSURANCE.
All our bookings include TOWELS, BED LINEN AND POOL TOWELS.
TOURIST TAX - (Law 2/2016 of 30 March, on tourist stay tax).
There is a local tax to be paid by the end client, which is not included in the rental price. It must be paid in the final payment of the booking.
Bookings between 01/05 and 31/10
2,20€ per night per adult (=+16 years)
If the booking is longer than 9 nights, then the rate of the fee, goes to 50%.
For the rest of the year:
1,10€ per night per adult (=+16 years)
ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE
Arrivals - Our accommodation is ready from 15:00 on the day of arrival, unless otherwise specified. You can always REQUEST an early check-in, subject to availability, and at a reduced cost. This REQUEST must be made 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE.
All our reservations include TOWELS, BED LINEN AND POOL TOWELS.
The client must have completed the CHECK IN ONLINE of all occupants, both to comply with the obligation of the part of Hostels (VFT Decree of May 2016), as well as to receive the data to access the accommodation.
Our accommodation must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure, unless otherwise specified. You can always request a late check-out, subject to availability, and at a reduced cost and must be REQUESTED 24-48 hours in advance.

MOBILE PHONE (TOURIST INFORMATION)
The properties do not have a telephone. We recommend that you bring a mobile phone with you in order to be able to communicate. We also ask you to be patient, because in many areas of the island, the signal may be low or non-existent.
The rubbish collection service in Menorca is carried out at night, in the rubbish bins (normally green, located in the street).
It must be taken into account that many of our accommodations are in rural areas and stored rubbish can attract cats, insects and other not so pleasant animals. In this case, you will find the container on the main road closest to your accommodation.
On departure, there should be NO bags of rubbish left in the accommodation. Failure to do so will result in a financial penalty of between €40 and €100 depending on the amount of rubbish left in the accommodation.
10 THINGS THAT SHOULD NOT BE FLUSHED DOWN THE TOILET
Please do not use the toilet as a waste bin. All our accommodations have waste bins in the bathrooms.
For the proper functioning of our ecosystem and to avoid problems with blockages, etc., please NEVER throw away the following materials:
Wet wipes, tampons and sanitary towels, oils, condoms, medicines, baby packs, etc....
In the event of a breakdown due to misuse, the customer will pay the charge of the professional who must act, depending on the severity.
ANIMALS AND INSECTS
We are on a small island with a high level of humidity. For this reason, during one stage of the year, we may encounter mosquitoes and/or flies.
In accommodation with gardens and/or swimming pools, special care should be taken NOT to leave refreshments or food out in the open, as this could attract too many ants.
Most of our accommodations are legally and professionally fumigated to avoid such ants. In the case of rain, you will probably see ants for a few hours, but in a limited time, they will disappear.
Remember that we are on an island, where there is a lot of countryside, it is very humid, and there is hardly any asphalt. In case you see any of these animals and feel disturbed, Mauter Villas will do everything possible to avoid this situation, so that you can enjoy a more pleasant stay.
Mosquitoes and other animals of the countryside are unavoidable and neither the accommodation provider nor Mauter Villas accept any responsibility for any inconvenience caused
In case of loss of keys to the accommodation, or having to break into a safe, the client must contact Mauter Villas, and Mauter Villas will send a professional to resolve the situation.
The client must pay the bill directly to the professional.
FURNITURE AND OTHER BELONGINGS
It is strictly forbidden to change the location of the furniture in the property, as well as any type of aesthetic modification.
MUSIC, PARTIES AND NOISE
It is strictly forbidden to disturb the neighbours with music or noise. It is not allowed to play music and make noises above 65 decibels from 22pm to 09am.
Parties are forbidden, and in the event of the police turning up, you will be fully responsible for any penalties.
In the event of a warning from neighbours and/or police at parties held in our accommodation, which is forbidden, Mauter Villas will have the right to directly evict the tourists, who will have a short period of time to vacate, without the right to any kind of refund for the remaining nights not enjoyed.
WORKS IN THE AREAS
The accommodations are privately owned by different owners and are generally located in residential areas. They are not located in tourist resorts, so that unexpected construction work may incidentally take place in the vicinity. Such works are usually carried out by property owners or governmental organisations with whom we have no relationship and therefore have no influence on these actions. Neither the accommodation provider nor MAUTER VILLAS SLU, therefore, assume any responsibility for any inconvenience caused by works that are not carried out on behalf of the accommodation provider.
WATER, ELECTRICITY AND INTERNET
Water, electricity and internet supply cuts are not usual. The municipal authorities may decide to temporarily cut off the supply due to breakdowns.
As for INTERNET, Menorca is not a big city, and we do not have high quality wifi everywhere. The connection is for checking emails or regular internet browsing, but not for downloads or streaming, as they could run out of wifi.
In case of signal failure, DO NOT RESET OUR ROUTERS, because it will have an extra cost. The computer installer will have to come to the property, and it will cost 40€.
From 2023, all Tourist accommodation, in the Air Conditioning devices, will be controlled with a minimum and maximum temperature, according to the Spanish Government.
All our accommodations have a Civil Responsibility insurance, and a minimum insurance for theft in case of breakage in order to have access to the accommodation.
The rental price does not include any optional insurance. We advise you to take out specific travel insurance. Mauter Villas, has TRAVEL INSURANCE, adapted to every need.
Responsibility: MAUTER VILLAS explicitly declares that it acts as an intermediary between owners and tenants, and is only responsible for the correct information of the accommodation offered, the indicated equipment and its precise location. It declines all responsibility for any damage, accident, delay or other causes unrelated to the management of the rental of the property.
CANCELLATION OF RESERVATIONS
The General Cancellation Conditions of MAUTER VILLAS :
Cancellation + or 14 days before arrival: FREE.
Cancellation between 14 and 0 days before arrival: 100% of the total amount.
In the case of vacating the accommodation before the departure date, there will be no right to any refund.
CLAIMS AND COMPLAINTS
Any complaint made after departure cannot be dealt with as it lacks the most elementary criteria that could be used to process the complaint, and consequently, it will not be valid. Any complaint or suggestion must be dealt with during the stay, and MAUTER VILLAS SLU has 48 hours to solve any type of anomaly with the competent team. MAUTER VILLAS SLU, has the right to change accommodation, as long as it is due to major causes.
ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL CONDITIONS
Simply by being part of the product offered and contracted in a reservation, implies the express acceptance by the tenant/client of each and every one of the General Conditions. For the hearing of all claims that may be made, both the lessee and the Company submit to the Courts of Ciutadella de Menorca, renouncing any other jurisdiction.
